In our endeavor to help underprivileged children have access to Education, the Kerkula Foundation has developed and organized a Home Study Program for less fortunate children in three towns within Bensonville.
This program is aimed at helping children who have never been to school and are not in school currently to have access to basic education as they wait to enter the classroom at school. We believe that every child should have access to education no matter what their socioeconomic status. During this program, the Kerkula Foundation will provide copybooks, pencils and teaching materials for the students who will be attending this home study program in the various communities serviced. Over 100 less fortunate children from three different Towns attended the program’s inaugural session. The Kerkula Foundation has plans to grow this program across the District in the coming months as we acquire the resources to facilitate and support the program.
